Everyone deserves to be heard. And everyone deserves to know that their identify is not only valid, but something to celebrate.

But so many in our community feel isolated and alone. Afraid of who they are, or what their identify may mean. Will they be bullied or discriminated against? Will they find happiness and acceptance?

For 30 years, the LGBT National Help Center, through our main program the LGBT National Hotline (www.LGBThotline.org), and our other national programs have been a critical lifeline for hundreds of thousands of individuals seeking help. These programs offer life-affirming and life-saving support, affirmation, and a community connection that many have never experienced or thought possible. Through the LGBT National Hotline, they will find the support they deserve, but also find an LGBTQ+ community that cares and loves them.

We strive to provide Care Before Crisis, stepping-in and providing peer support before they find themselves in crisis and giving space so they can begin to move forward on their journey of acceptance and celebration of themselves.

Running a national support hotline for the LGBTQ+ community is hard work. And we can use your help. We are almost entirely funded by individuals like you who understand who important it is that EVERYONE regardless of age, race, gender, or location can receive support from highly trained LGBTQ+ identified volunteers that care. Your support ensures that as the demand for our services grows we can continue to provide vital support.
