I was a library kid. Today, I'm a library adult—and I still believe the library is one of the most important places in our community.
As a child, the library was more than a building—it was a safe place. It was where I could be curious, dream big, and discover a lifelong love of learning. It gave me a sense of belonging, and it changed my life.
Every child deserves that same opportunity. That's why I'm asking for your help. We're in the final stretch of raising the funds needed to renovate the children's area at our downtown library.
This space hasn't seen a major update since the 1980s, and together we can transform it into a welcoming, engaging place where children and families can read, play, explore, learn, and grow.
Gifts of any size Matter!!! Whether you give $5 or $500, every dollar moves us closer to the finish line. Your generosity will help create a space where today's library kids can become tomorrow's lifelong learners.
Renovations begin in October, and we need your help to make this vision a reality. Please join me in investing in our children, our families, and our community. Together, we can build a place where every child feels welcome, inspired, and excited to learn.
