Our Pantry Was Shut Down. The Need Wasn't.

Life Hub Network was created with a simple commitment: connect people to the resources they need and strengthen the community we serve.

In June 2026, the food pantry operations our team had built and operated for the past two years was shut down, disrupting a consistent source of food assistance for families in Avondale and its surrounding communities. We were later forced to leave the location where those services had been operating, requiring us to remove our equipment and supplies, secure storage, and determine how we could continue serving without a permanent home.

But the need didn't disappear when the doors closed.

The families depending on these resources couldn't simply wait for us to find another building.

Food insecurity doesn't pause because an organization loses its space. Families still need groceries. Children still need meals. Seniors still need support. Without consistent access to food assistance, households already struggling to make ends meet can quickly fall deeper into the hunger gap.

So We Kept Serving.

Without a permanent location, we took our work outdoors.

We have continued distributing food and connecting families with resources while working to build the infrastructure Life Hub Network needs for its next chapter.

At our August 20 food distribution alone, we served 61 registered households representing 134 individuals, including children, adults, and seniors. An additional 34 youth walked up and were served that day.

Those numbers represent more than statistics. They represent neighbors who still needed us to show up.

And we did.

Now, We're Building What's Next.

Our goal isn't simply to recover from losing a location. We are building something sustainable.
