Black to the Land; Almost a Decade of Land Stewards Tending to the Soils Across King County

The relevance for Black Farmers Collective to kick-off our Ten-Year Anniversary Campaign on this Indigenous Peoples Day is to honor the first inhabitants and stewards of the land now known as the United States; their histories and cultures; and their ongoing fight for sovereignty, recognition, and the return of their ancestral homelands taken through broken treaties and acts of violence and genocide.

Black Farmers Collective is rooted in the purpose to reclaim food and land sovereignty.

This Campaign is a Monumental Movement for Reclaiming ‘Food and Land Sovereignty’.

Purpose: The notion behind our Inaugural Capital Campaign is to highlight the foundational work that our ancestors - their shared wisdom, courageousness, regenerative practices - has been the vision for Black Farmers Collective to align with its North Star; Black to the Land.

How Will We Get There: We’re fortunate to have a network of dreamers and believers that stand grounded in our work, our purpose, our mission. We see you, We honor you.

DONATE: A one-time donation will help us sustain and create an inclusive space. Any recurring contributions and any donations that exceed our goal will be allocated towards our Rapid Grant Fund which is intended to support Land-Stewards (Farmers) that are working to address critical areas of Regenerative Farming AND Community Resilience.
* The Rapid Grant Fund will disburse its inaugural ‘Rapid-Grant’ in late October 2025, and continue to support Eligible Applicants on a quarterly basis as long as funds remain available.
