The model will maintain the same pose (with breaks) for the entire session. Bring your own drawing materials which can include graphite, charcoal, pastels or watercolors. Acrylics, water-based oils, and regular oils using odorless turpenoid will be allowed. We will be drawing from nude, partially clothed or dressed models. Must be over 18 to attend.

Drawing boards and easels will be provided, and artists using media that can leave a permanent stain are encouraged to bring a drop cloth. The artist is responsible for cleaning their own area before leaving. Photographing or video recording the model is not permitted.

The Time is Now

Arts Iowa City’s ArtiFactory is a place to learn and practice the visual arts and fine crafts in a community of artisans that represent a broad spectrum of interests and abilities, a place that encourages cross-fertilization, and offers a multipurpose venue that can be used by artists from the community to connect, teach, and perform.

We are at a critical time in Iowa City’s history. We who live here have the opportunity, therefore the obligation, to design the best Iowa City for the 21st century, and beyond. Help fund this vision with a generous donation.
