When you support the Long Beach Post COVID-19 Local News Fund with a tax deductible contribution, you're directly supporting our local newsroom with the resources and journalists necessary to extensively cover the unfolding coronavirus crisis.

The Long Beach Post has never had a paywall. Subscriptions are not required to read our articles. Our reporting has always been free to read. Nevertheless, reader support is vital to our efforts.

Since the coronavirus crisis started, we’ve taken several significant steps to support our readers and our community, including making all our coronavirus coverage available for other newsrooms, community organizations, civic agencies, or educational and non-profit groups to reuse and republish for free.

We built a custom online hub for Long Beach neighborhoods to organize and communicate, and we created a live blog of all our coronavirus coverage, so readers can find summary updates and links to our longer coverage in one unified place. Over 160 updates have already been published.

Your support, in any amount, matters.
