Since the coronavirus crisis started, we’ve taken several significant steps to support our readers and our community, including making all our coronavirus coverage available for other newsrooms, community organizations, civic agencies, or educational and non-profit groups to reuse and republish for free.

We built a custom online hub for Long Beach neighborhoods to organize and communicate, and we created a live blog of all our coronavirus coverage, so readers can find summary updates and links to our longer coverage in one unified place. Over 160 updates have already been published.

Recently, we also launched a commission-free platform for local makers and businesses who are producing face coverings to connect with customers looking to buy.
