Times:
You can choose from one of four available times
> 7am - 9am
> 8am - 10am
> 9am - 11am
> 10am - 12pm
Requirements:
> No rowing experience is necessary!
> Must be 10 years or older
> Must be able to perform a full squat and lift 35lbs overhead
> Must complete required waivers which will be provide at check-in
Details:
The City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department, CANDO's Team Tampa Rowing, and The Tampa Athletic Club annually host the USRowing National Learn to Row Day on the first Saturday of June.

Come out and give rowing a try! This is a FREE event and will introduce you to rowing on the water. Middle school, high school students and adults of all ages, shapes, and sizes are encouraged to attend (minimum age of 10 years old).

Each session is 2 hours and will include technical instruction on land and on the water.
- Sign In & Complete Waivers - 15min
  - You can sign these two waivers on site at registration, or print them out and bring them with you.
  - Parks and Rec Waiver
  - USRowing Waiver
- Rowing Machine Technique Intro - 20min
- ROW ON THE WATER! - 60min
- Recap and Boathouse Tour - 25min
  
  Local youth and adult rowing programs will be on site to help you learn more about rowing opportunities throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Team Tampa Rowing is a community rowing program founded in 2018 through City of Tampa's Parks and Rec with one goal: "Everybody Rows". Over the last six years our program has experienced exponential growth. Not only in the amount of athletes we have introduced to rowing, but also in these athletes dedication and love for the sport.

Any donations made through this page or at the National Learn To Row event will go towards funding our young athletes traveling to compete at USRowing Youth National Championship on June 14th in Sarasota, FL.

Please help support these athletes from our community as they travel to compete at youth rowing's highest level.
