Americans eat a staggering 50 billion burgers every year, almost all of which come from factory farms. This system produces cheap (subsidized) food, but at the cost of vast resources, diet-related illness, and immense animal suffering. The traditional burger model—raising animals on feed crops in confined spaces—is cruel, wasteful, unhealthy, and outdated.

PLNT Burger is changing that. By combining plant-based innovation with a chef’s touch, they are creating burgers that are not only delicious, but also dramatically better for people and the planet. Compared to beef, PLNT burgers use:
