The Resiliency Collaborative (TRC) is excited to launch a month-long fundraising campaign to send 10 youth participants and 3 staff members to the Mental Health America (MHA) Conference in Washington, D.C. this October. The MHA Conference is the nation’s longest-running and most respected mental health advocacy event, bringing together leading policymakers, researchers, grassroots advocates, and professionals from across the country.

This conference offers a unique, transformative opportunity for TRC’s youth and staff to:

Engage directly with cutting-edge mental health research, tools, and policy solutions
Network with BIPOC leaders and advocates who are shaping the future of mental health
Participate in youth-centered programming designed to empower emerging leaders
Explore career pathways in mental health, advocacy, and related fields
Learn about culturally responsive care and systems-level change
Gain advocacy, leadership, and community organizing skills

Funds raised will cover travel, registration, and lodging, investments that not only support our youth’s immediate growth but also strengthen TRC’s long-term mission to foster equity, opportunity, and leadership among BIPOC youth.

This campaign isn’t just about attending a conference; it’s about showing youth what’s possible for their futures - while ensuring that their voices and lived experiences are part of a national movement for mental health justice.
