Local news needs your support
The Telegraph has spent the past two months providing vital information to help Middle Georgians make the best decisions about how to respond to the coronavirus pandemic.
In addition to daily COVID-19 case updates, the Telegraph has reported on local and state shelter in place orders, analyzed health officials’ ability to track the coronavirus, provided key health information, highlighted support efforts from local nonprofits and told you how our community is coping in the face of the pandemic.
We’ve been able to publish this critical information thanks to the support of our subscribers (for more information on subscribing, click here).
Now, we need your help. News organizations across the country have struggled as advertising numbers decline amidst record unemployment and a national shutdown, furloughing and laying off reporters. The Telegraph has been able avoid these drastic measures, but we can’t do that forever.
To help us fund our news coverage, we’ve partnered with the Local Media Foundation to create The Telegraph COVID-19 Reporting Fund. Your tax-deductible gift will help ensure we’re able to continue reporting vitally important stories for Middle Georgians.
If you have suggestions about our COVID-19 coverage, tips or story ideas, email us at [email protected].
