Spiritual Development: Madarij al-Salikin

Join Shaykh Tidiane Diallo for an ongoing study of Madarij al-Salikin by Imam Ibn al-Qayyim, a celebrated work on tazkiyah — the purification and spiritual development of the soul.

The class explores the spiritual stations and practices of the believer’s journey to Allah, with a focus on softening the heart, strengthening one’s relationship with Allah, cultivating love of worship, and turning the soul away from disobedience.

Through the study of the text, students will explore how the heart can be cultivated and prepared to benefit more deeply from the guidance of the Qur’an and Sunnah, and how each stage of spiritual development can help the believer draw closer to Allah.
