For over 35 years, MEAC has provided vital services to assist individuals and families who reside in Madisonville and the surrounding communities.

The work of Madisonville Education & Assistance Center is centered around providing emergency assistance, access to resources, and education. We understand that basic needs must be met before our neighbors can reach their full potential. To meet these needs, we offer access to fresh food within the community, financial assistance with essential bills, and access to and guidance in navigating resources.

In order to further the stability and success of our neighbors, we provide ongoing support and connection to resources.

Our Early Literacy program, in partnership with our neighborhood public school, provides critical interventions from prekindergarten on to bolster the future success of children in our community. To prevent the summer slide, summer literacy camps are held for children entering kindergarten through third grade.

Our programming is based on the expressed needs of our neighbors as we strive to be an organization that works alongside and as part of the community.
