On Saturday, July 27, dozens of children played soccer with their friends, as they did every Saturday in Majdal Shams, in northern Israel. Suddenly, a siren alerting for incoming rockets blared. They didn't have time to reach the shelter before a Hezbollah rocket struck their field, killing 12 innocent children and injuring 30 others. Among the victims were four brothers. Targeting innocent children while they play soccer is a crime against humanity.

July 27 is now another date to remember, just like October 7. We have too many dates marked by terrorists murdering innocent people. These families are experiencing unimaginable pain and loss. Parents have lost their beloved children, siblings have lost their playmates and friends, and an entire community is grieving.

These families have suffered an unimaginable loss. Parents have lost their children, siblings have lost their brothers and sisters, and an entire community is in shock and mourning.
