RAE’S Home is a Virginia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides a safe, supportive, family-style home for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism.

We are seeking support to provide a once-in-a-lifetime Disney experience for the residents we serve. Many of our residents have limited opportunities to travel independently or participate in large-scale community experiences. This trip will allow them to build confidence, strengthen social skills, practice decision-making, and create meaningful memories while exploring one of the world’s most inclusive and engaging destinations.

The Disney experience will provide opportunities for:

• Community integration and inclusion

• Social skills development

• Independence and self-advocacy

• Recreational and educational experiences

• Building confidence through new experiences

• Creating lasting memories and friendships

Funds raised will help cover transportation, lodging, park admission, accessible accommodations, and other trip-related expenses for residents participating in this life-enriching experience.
