It's Time To Grow

Eventful Expressions NPC, a non-profit 501c3 Charlotte-based organization, has served as the fiscal sponsor and co-lead for the Charlotte Chalk Art Festival since its inception. In 2027, we will serve as the lead organizer for CCAF and manage All Chalk The Walk(way) community activities, chalk art installations by CCAF artists, and artistic career pathways programming. With your support, we will implement a comprehensive strategic plan to deepen our local impact.

Our Project Scope includes:

Expanding Charlotte Chalk Art Festival Capacity by increasing our
- event footprint to accommodate more chalk art competitors from the local, national, and international community,
- advertising spend to attract attendees from other states,
- and CCAF attendance by 50% year-over-year.
Curriculum Development: Implementing our chalk art specific career pathways programming, to include workshops designed to take a local youth and adult emerging artist from being chalk art artist to a muralist
Chalk Art Installations: Increasing the hiring of CCAF competitors for Chalk The Walk(way) community activities and installations at various businesses, festivals, and sporting events.

Your Professional Investment

When you give to this campaign, your contribution ensures the continuity of these creative offerings. Every dollar is allocated toward high impact program delivery, starting with CCAF2026. For example, a gift of $225 covers the cost to host a chalk art competitor (supplies, meals, t-shirt, ground signage, and ultimately, an application fee) while larger investments go toward the rental of event equipment from the Charlotte ToolBank, additional event supplies, waiving of competitor application fees, hiring art activities facilitators and local performers, marketing materials and signage, videography and photography services, and securing venues if a VIK Partnership isn't possible.
