PROFILE

I am a retired widow with 5 adult married children, 19 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. I have lived in the Phoenix area of Arizona since 1966. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting but most of my working career was in upper management in manufacturing operations retiring as Vice President of Operations for Creative Images in 1995. followed by 3 years of upper management consulting for Allied Signal, now Honeywell.

GOALS

Going on a Springs of Salvation mission, especially to Africa, and finding the next chapter of my life since the passing of my husband of 51 years. I hope to find my passion again.

SKILLS

My strengths are in planning and organizing, doing a job and figuring out how to do it more efficiently. I have run a highly technical factory making military aircraft cockpit products and a very low tech company of 400 employees manufacturing Halloween makeup. I have organized 18 backpacking trips, groups of 20, to Phantom Ranch in the Grand Canyon, several backpacking hikes into Havasupai, lead & coordinated Lake Powell Houseboat trips, lead canal narrowboat trips in England, UK, orchestrated a 5-day backpack hike through Paria Canyon, see picture below.

MISSIONS

February 2026: 2 weeks at Haus Edelweiss, Vienna, Austria with Christ Church of the Valley, see picture below.

December 2009, 2013, 2016 & 2026: Coordinated, lead and hosted Rose Parade float decorating for Lutheran Hour Ministries.

June 2007: Supervised and coordinated a group of Easter Seals children and their caregivers a week long houseboat trip on Lake Powell

November 1999; Supervised the building of and sponsored the recipient of a Habitat for Humanities home built in Glendale, AZ

Spring 1981: Lead a group of 13 year old Girl Scouts on a Havasupai 2-night backpacking hike.
