MARIPOSA EVERY DAY is a special opportunity in the month of May where we invite your financial support to continue supportive and nurturing kids and families in South East Austin.

We have a received a generous match up to $25,000, so whatever you choose to give in May will be doubled! We have even set an aspirational goal of raising $75,000 this month.

We would like to share some special updates at Mariposa with you-

Mariposa now serves hot breakfast and lunch to each student. Through generous grants, we began this program in late 2025 and our kids have been enjoying family meals together, every day, since. As food insecurity continues to be a challenge, we have also been providing grocery gift cards to families who need support.

We are adding another classroom to our space! We are converting the Montopolis Hall into a classroom for 3-5 year olds. This will enable our program to grow by 6-8 children, for a total of 34 kids!

Nearly 20% of the total monthly tuition is now being covered by parents. Individual famiy contributions vary based on the financial situation of each family. However, this is an encouraging increase from previous years and contributes enormously to Mariposa's sustainability.

Our Expansion Task Force is re-engaged and hard at work as we plan for a bright future and continue to grow and serve more families.

Every day, our Mariposa children, infants through five year olds, have a happy and healthy place to spend their day. Every day, parents can drop off their child at Mariposa and feel secure in knowing that Mariposa is a safe and great place, enabling them to go to work and provide for their family. Every day, Mariposa teachers and administrative staff pour out their hearts to serve the children and families.
