Why are we raising funds for optical marksman sets?

Drones have completely changed the perception of warfare. The average lifespan of a piece of equipment on the battlefield without electronic warfare (EW) protection is only 20 minutes. russian occupation forces are constantly improving their drone tactics and working on enhancing their capabilities.

The enemy continuously adapts its tactics in the use of FPV drones. Recently, the most effective tactic has been ambush-style attacks: a drone remains stationary on a road, waiting for a vehicle. Once a vehicle appears, the drone takes off and strikes.

To counter this threat, trained marksmen are deployed. These operators require both day and night optical devices. We already have successful experience in neutralizing drones on the ground and are working to scale this approach in order to protect more personnel.

Who will receive the marksman complexes?

The marksman sets will be delivered to Ukrainian defenders in 18th Sloviansk Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine and to Alpha SBU (unit of Spec Ops Center A Security service of Ukraine), one of the most combat-ready units of the Ukrainian defence forces, performing missions on the front lines. Currently, the fighters are operating in the Donetsk direction, Chasiv Yar. This region in eastern Ukraine is among the most challenging, strategically important, and most threatened part of the front.

We stay agile due to our small size, multinational team, and direct on-site contacts that we developed in 2014-2015, and adapted to the new realities in 2022. Working with small grassroots organizations like ours is one of the most direct ways to help Ukraine.
