For generations, the McCord Memorial Library Association has served as a cornerstone of our community. As a public institution dedicated to lifelong learning, we provide more than just a collection of books; we offer a sanctuary for discovery and a vital hub for local engagement. Our goal is to continue to nurture curiosity, encourage exploration, and support lifelong learning.

The Need for Growth

As our community expands, so does the demand for modern resources. Currently, our facility serves thousands of residents each year, but our budget must keep pace with rising costs and the need for updated technology. To maintain the high standard of service our neighbors expect, we must address the following requirements:

Expanded Digital Collections: Increasing our selection of e-books and digital periodicals to meet modern reading habits.
Youth Literacy Initiatives: Funding specialized programming for early childhood development and after-school support.
Facility Infrastructure: Maintaining our physical environment to ensure it remains a safe and accessible space for all.

Your Investment in Literacy

Your contribution ensures that these essential services remain free and accessible to every member of our community. When you give, you are directly funding the acquisition of new materials and the implementation of educational workshops that foster a culture of learning. A gift of any size has a measurable impact on our ability to provide high quality information services.

Data shows that libraries with robust funding see a direct correlation in local literacy rates and community satisfaction. By supporting this campaign, you are participating in a collective effort to strengthen our intellectual infrastructure. With your support, we can continue to be the primary resource for education and connection in our region.

We invite you to join us in this investment.
