Two realities. One Atlanta. One shared future.

Atlanta is a city of extraordinary growth, culture, influence and opportunity. But within the same city, families and communities can experience dramatically different realities when it comes to something as fundamental as access to food.

A TALE OF TWO CITIES

One Atlanta. Two Realities.

In one Atlanta, abundance is everywhere.

In another, families may live only miles away while facing barriers to fresh, nutritious and affordable food.

The distance between those realities isn't always measured in miles. Sometimes it is measured in access.

A Tale of Two Cities brings those realities into the same conversation, not to exploit hardship, but to demonstrate what becomes possible when a community chooses to respond.

Our goal is to turn awareness into resources, resources into access, and one evening of generosity into meaningful impact beyond the event itself.

WHY GOODR

Feeding More. Wasting Less. Serving With Dignity.

Goodr began in Atlanta with the belief that hunger isn't simply a scarcity problem. It is also a logistics and access problem.

Today, Goodr works with businesses, foundations, governments and community partners to redirect surplus food and provide groceries and meals to communities through innovative hunger-relief programs. Goodr says it has served more than 30 million meals and diverted more than 4 million pounds of food from landfills through its broader work. Goodr

Central to that work is dignity. Goodr's grocery programs are designed to give individuals and families access to quality groceries through an experience that feels more like shopping than receiving a handout. Goodr

That philosophy makes Goodr a natural partner for what MCK Cares wants this year's campaign to represent:

Need deserves more than acknowledgment. It deserves action.

THE EVENING

Celebration Meets Purpose

For four years, MCK Cares has used its anniversary as an opportunity to bring people together and give back.

This year continues that tradition with an experience designed around community, connection, philanthropy and Atlanta culture.

Guests can expect an evening that feels unmistakably MCK while creating space to learn about the issue of food access, experience the mission of Goodr, connect with others who care about Atlanta and contribute directly to the impact we hope to create.

Come celebrate another year with us.

Come experience Atlanta in community.

And most importantly, come help us bridge the gap.
