In December 2024, Drs. Ced and LaChish McMillan launched the McMillan Family Foundation with one powerful vision; to invest in people. Having grown up in the inner cities of Prichard, AL, and Philadelphia, PA, they knew firsthand that access to opportunity can change the trajectory of a life. Their mission became clear: to promote healthy families and communities by empowering people across the socioeconomic spectrum through financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and health.

In just our first full year, 2025 has been a year of impact and inspiration. We awarded laptop scholarships to help students and pursue higher education, hosted multiple financial literacy sessions to equip families with tools for stability and success, and launched our Micro Grant Initiative; giving small business owners the seed money to grow their dreams.

This work is more important now than ever. With the current economic challenges facing families and small businesses across the nation, our programs are a lifeline; offering hope, education, and opportunity to those determined to build better lives.
