In celebration of his 80's birthday on Sept. 1, Mel is taking an 80-mile bike ride and asking for your per-mile donation to support the ministries of Washington UCC.

Since the early 90's Mel has been committed to the outreach ministries at Washington UCC and he is still doing it. Now, between 50+ mile bike rides, he serves on the property team, is a lunch volunteer, council member and sound tech for the worship services. Mel is also the voice of progressive theology for this community, offering open acceptance and thoughtful inclusion to everyone.

Your donation to Mel's bike ride campaign promotes a community of care and concern for some of Cincinnati's most vulnerable people. It supports 1100 lunches and 167 pantry visits every month. It provides after-school tutoring in math and reading for K-8th grade students.
