Our mission is to provide critical support and resources to black mothers (and caregivers) by offering funds for interim mental health services, creating unity through community building, and utilizing education to eradicate the stigma associated with mental health in the black community.

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the unique mental health challenges faced by black mothers, recognizing the importance of their well-being in nurturing healthy families and communities. Through our initiatives, we strive to ensure that black mothers have access to the necessary mental health services, medications, education, and community support during challenging times; Empowering them to lead fulfilling lives and fostering a positive impact on their families and society as a whole.

Mental Health Clinical Care

We partner with industry professionals to help facilitate care and cover the cost of care during difficult times. That may include therapy costs, hosting support groups, or helping with prescription costs via individual grants.

Wellness & Community

We want everyone who may be facing a mental health struggle to know that they are not alone. We offer community-based events that promote mental and physical wellness in safe, culturally relevant spaces. Your donation will help to support Wellness Fairs, Yoga Classes, Meditations, Journaling Workshops, and Panel Discussions

A message from our founder:

I founded this organization after my battle with mental health. I was functioning with no gas in the tank and that led to me forgetting to choose health insurance with my job. I was ashamed and things continued to progress. I was eventually too depressed to work. I was crying during meetings and could barely get out of bed to get my kids to school. I spent all my savings and my life was in shambles. I was losing everything piece by piece. It was the lowest I had ever been. I felt isolated and too ashamed to tell anyone what was going on. When it all fell apart I wasn't able to mask it anymore. I could only recover because of the love and support of those around me.

Everyone doesn't have the support they need around them like I did.

Once I made it to the other side of the darkness, I wondered: if I had the resources to cover a few therapy sessions, some prescription refills, and people to connect with who truly understood what it felt like to be where I was, would I have emerged sooner… before it came close to costing me my life?

I never want anyone to feel the way I felt.

Together we can support the women who need it most, but never ask.
