On June 28, our dear friend, Michael Menahem Katan, suffered a tragic accident while diving into a pool. He struck his head, causing multiple fractures to his cervical spine. Following emergency surgery, he remains in critical condition. As a result of his devastating injuries, he is currently experiencing right-sided paralysis, and his road to recovery remains uncertain.

His wife Bella and their three beautiful children are now facing an unimaginable journey filled with uncertainty, hope, and countless challenges. As they focus on being by his side and supporting one another, the last thing they should have to worry about is the overwhelming financial burden that comes with a medical crisis.

Bella, being a nurse herself, has decided to take a leave of absence from work to be by her husband's side and to advocate for his care. Funds raised will help ease the family's financial stress by assisting with medical expenses not covered by insurance, rehabilitation and long-term recovery needs, lost income during this difficult time, household expenses, and any other unexpected costs that arise.
