This September, Mrs. Margaret "Midge" Thomas will turn 99 years young! To celebrate the life of this amazing woman, who has done so much for so many in Rochester, we are creating a NEW Community Garden in her name.

An inductee in the National Women's Hall of Fame, Midge is an inspiration to all who know her, and this project will recognize and honor her many decades of service and generosity.

Please consider supporting this worthwhile and lasting project, which will bring life, color and beauty to the very neighborhood where Midge still resides. Your tax-deductible gift will help fund the creation of a stunning and permanent flower garden at the entrance to St. Joseph's Park, which will be officially dedicated on Midge's 99th birthday.

This project will also include:

A plaque commemorating the new Community Garden in Midge's name
Planting flowers in tree wells throughout the St. Joseph's Park Neighborhood
Placement of several new flower planters along Liberty Pole Way
A celebration and unveiling event on the occasion of Midge's 99th birthday (all supporters of this fundraiser will be invited)
