Elevate Neighborhood Voices: Our Neighborhood Dispatch is a new, listening-first reporting effort in distinct city neighborhoods, with more opportunities to connect residents, elevate important issues and broadcast new voices.
Protect the Great Lakes: Our freshwater and environment reporting keeps attention on the health of Lake Michigan, local waterways and efforts to sustain our local ecology.
Fuel Student Success: Our education reporting holds school systems accountable and seeks to elevate more teacher, parent and student voices in the dialogue about improving teaching and learning.
Amplify the Arts: Our arts reporting is expanding beyond music, theaters, festivals and food to feature more visual art content and cultural commentary.

Contributions to the Community-Funded Journalism Project will be distributed to The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as monitored public good grants to fund reporting expenses and cannot be used for any other purpose. Our editors maintain editorial independence over all stories.
