Unbridled Paths is launching Minis On The Move, a new outreach program created to bring joy, comfort, and connection to senior citizens in our community.

Through this program, our miniature horse, Buttercup, will visit assisted living facilities, memory care communities, hospice settings, and other senior care environments. Many seniors are no longer able to travel to a farm, attend outdoor events, or experience the peaceful presence of animals the way they once did. Minis On The Move allows us to bring that experience directly to them.

Why This Matters

A visit from Buttercup can be simple, but deeply meaningful. It may bring a smile, spark a memory, encourage conversation, offer a gentle moment of touch, or brighten a resident’s day.

For seniors facing loneliness, memory loss, grief, illness, or limited mobility, these moments of joy can make a powerful difference.

Our Goal

Our goal is to create visits that are safe, calm, uplifting, and filled with dignity. Each visit will be coordinated with facility staff and handled by trained members of the Unbridled Paths team.

Whether Buttercup is visiting a group of residents in a common area or offering a quiet moment of comfort to someone in hospice care, the purpose remains the same:
