Joyanna is honored to represent Connecticut as the JR Teen Miss Amazing Queen—and now, she’s preparing to take the national stage.
But getting to Nationals takes more than determination. It takes a community. We are raising funds to help cover travel, lodging, program fees, and the resources needed for Joyanna to fully participate in this life-changing experience—one that builds confidence, independence, and lifelong connections for girls with disabilities across the country.
This is more than a trip. It’s an opportunity for Joyanna to be seen, celebrated, and to inspire others on a national level.
She’s defined by her strength. Fueled by her passions. She’s using her voice and her story to show the world that different doesn’t mean less—it means powerful in a whole new way.

From the NICU… to the Winner’s Circle 🏁 Joyanna’s journey began with uncertainty.
She was born premature, unresponsive, with serious complications affecting her heart, lungs, and immune system. She spent her first three months in the NICU fighting to survive.
As she grew, so did the challenges—rare conditions Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Mito Chondral Disease, Common Variable Immune Deficiency, severe allergies, hospitalizations, and treatments that require constant care and resilience. Then pile on the developmental disabilities: Autism, Intellectual Disability, and ADHD.
Need for Speed 🚗💨 Joyanna found her passion where few would expect it—on the racetrack. Her talent? RC Car Racing. Fast reflexes. Sharp focus. Total confidence. When she races, she isn’t thinking about limitations—she’s chasing the next turn, the speeding up in the straights and driving into the winners circle.
