Soul Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization founded with the mission to spay/neuter and protect animals. We provide low or no-cost spay/neuter services in underserved areas, especially focusing on the Native American reservations in the four corners area of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah. We hold weekend spay/neuter clinics once or twice each month on the southwest US reservations to help reduce the pet overpopulation problem there. Soul Dog Rescue also provides low-cost spay/neuter and vaccines for the public's dogs and cats at our clinic in Fort Lupton, Colorado.

Soul Dog transports homeless dogs and cats that have been abandoned on the reservations or that are surrendered to us, and takes them to our shelter in Fort Lupton, Colorado. The animals are provided food, shelter, and medical care. Once the animals are healthy, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, they are ready for adoption. Many of our animals stay in foster homes until they are adopted. We adopt dogs and cats from our shelter and also from Denver-area PetSmart stores. Soul Dog holds weekly adoption events at Denver-area PetSmart stores to help find homes for our rescue dogs. Donations help to support our low-cost spay/neuter services and to provide food, medical supplies, and staff to care for the dogs and cats in our care.
