Our Legacy: Three Decades of Intergenerational Storytelling, Song, and Community

Over thirty years ago in Park Hill, members of Montview Presbyterian Church founded a small theatre group called Musique & Masque. What began as a modest church program quickly grew into a beloved community tradition. In the years since, we’ve welcomed thousands of people — ages 5 to 85, seasoned performers and first-time participants alike — onto our stage for an annual musical theatre production.

Our participants learn far more than theatre basics. Every rehearsal and performance builds teamwork, inclusiveness, and preparedness. The unintended consequence? Increased confidence, lifelong friendships, and the once-in-a-lifetime thrill of a standing ovation!

In a world where genuine community connections feel increasingly rare, our theatre group has fostered generations of creativity, mentorship, laughter, and shared family experiences. This is Musique & Masque. This is what we are protecting, and what we are working to grow.
