Everybody needs help sometimes. That's the guiding principal of mutual aid: the voluntary, collaborative exchanges of resources and services for common benefit. And that's why we created the MN Together Fund.

On Monday, December 1, federal agents descended on the Twin Cities to begin ‘Operation Metro Surge.’ This enforcement action, though, affects many more people than the "worst of the worst" than the agencies say they seek. Parents are keeping American-born children home from school to avoid contact with federal agents. Naturalized neighbors who may getting caught in a sweep are too afraid to grocery shop. And assisted-living staff with pending asylum cases are forced into the impossible choice of going to lawful work and risking indiscriminate arrest or staying home safe but without a paycheck.

MARCH, a mulitfaith alliance of communities working toward racial justice and collective liberation, is collaborating with leaders of affected communities to match these funds to trusted organizational partners best positioned to meet the emerging needs of our neighbors.
