Children’s museums like MoChiMu serve as trusted, welcoming spaces where children can explore their natural curiosity, make discoveries, and engage in self-directed, experiential learning. The focus on play-based, content-rich experiences fosters early brain development and provides children with unique opportunities to learn in ways that go beyond traditional educational settings.

Modesto Children’s Museum, as the first of its kind in the region, is committed to enhancing educational programming in the Central Valley both within our facilities and through outreach initiatives. Our interactive exhibits are enhanced through innovative programming designed to complement school curricula and support learning outcomes for children of all backgrounds, ensuring that all families can benefit from the museum's resources.

Since opening our doors we have impacted more than 180,000 children and families, encouraging our community to experience wonder and adventure. These memory-making moments both on- and off-site enrich our region with just the kind of child-centered learning, discovery, and imagination the Central Valley deserves.
