Kick off Mother’s Day weekend with a burst of color! The Momma Strong Color Run is a family-friendly community outreach event hosted by The Pentecostals of Turkey Creek. Whether you are a marathon pro, a casual walker, or have a kiddo in a stroller, this event is for you.

We’re coming together to celebrate the strength of mothers and women in our community while supporting our building program.

Event Highlights

The Run/Walk: A trip through our community and park course with color stations.

Momma Strong Tribute: A special moment to honor the women who inspire us.

Post-Race Party: Shopping, Music, lunch(included with race entry or playday entry), and a final "color throw" at the finish line!

Family Fun: Activities for kids and photo booths to capture the mess.

Registration Details

When: Saturday, May 9, 2026 (The Saturday before Mother's Day)

Time: Check-in begins at 8AM | Race starts at 10AM

Where: First UPC Turkey Creek 1057 Pine Street Turkey Creek LA 70585. This address is inside the city limits of the village of Turkey Creek.

Registration Includes: ($40) An official Momma Strong t-shirt (if registered by Aprill 11), and Lunch.

Playday entry is $12 and includes lunch (with pre-registration)

Day of race registration $40 (no event t-shirt)

Day of Playday entry $10. lunch not included.

Children under 12 can run/walk with supervising adult for just the $12 playday fee but wont be viewed as competitors unless they are registered for $40.

Children 2 and under are free for all activities.

1st place awards to:

1st individual

1st Mom and Child (no age limit)

1st Mom with Stroller.

Why We Run

At The POTC, we believe in the power of community. This isn't just a race; it’s an outreach to show our local families they are loved and supported. All proceeds from this event will go directly toward our building Program.
