I'm a former attorney (and current mediator) who has finally transitioned to most-time artist. My primary medium is glass (mostly fused glass but also stained glass and mosaic), but I also work in charcoal, acrylics, watercolor, fiber arts and mixed media. After my husband got me a gift certificate at a local glass shop eight years ago, I started taking classes, and was hooked. Now I teach classes there! About ten years ago I visited Monhegan with a friend and we hiked all day - it's a beautifully inspirational place for an artist. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to go back!
I am most excited about sketching and painting the beautiful scenic vistas on the island, hiking the trails again, and spending time with other artists and learning from them.

What inspires my creativity? I'm inspired by nature, but themes of social justice and global concerns also creep into my work. I also LOVE color and playing with unusual color and pattern choices.
