Today is the last day of July, and we're asking you to consider becoming a Monthly Sustainer of RRR Sanctuary.

People often assume it takes a large team to care for a sanctuary like ours. The truth is, we do it with just five dedicated staff members who rotate seven days a week to care for the 43 animals who call this ranch home.

Every single day, we care for:

17 horses
7 pigs
3 cows
13 dogs
3 barn cats

But numbers only tell part of the story.

Thirteen of our dogs have disabilities or special medical needs. Every one of them requires personalized care three to four times a day. They need help getting around, medications, extra cleaning, special feeding routines, and the kind of patience that only love can provide.

Should we give up on them because they're old? Because they're disabled? Because caring for them takes more time and costs more money?

Absolutely not.

These animals have already been overlooked once in their lives. Here, they never will be again.

We believe every life has value. We believe every animal deserves comfort, dignity, and unconditional love. That's why RRR Sanctuary has become a place for what some people call the "misfits." To us, they aren't misfits at all.

They're perfect just the way they are.

Caring for them isn't easy, but it is a promise we've made.

Even with our small team, our monthly payroll is nearly $25,000. Add rising utility costs during the hot summers and cold winters, along with recent emergency veterinary care for Bagby, Chabo, and Jenner, and we've reached a point where we simply cannot do this alone.

We know we probably sound like a broken record asking for help.

The truth is, we keep asking because the animals never stop needing us.

They don't know when donations are down.

They don't know when an emergency vet bill arrives.

They simply trust that every morning someone will walk through the barn doors to feed them, clean their stalls, give their medications, scratch their ears, and remind them they are safe and loved.

That someone is us.
