Fall Into Giving: Help Us Bring Comfort, Hope & Dignity

As the leaves change and the air turns cooler, fall reminds us of the importance of warmth, comfort, and caring for one another. But for some members of our community, having basic necessities and a sense of security is not something they can take for granted.

At Morningstar Community Collective Inc., we believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect—especially during life's most difficult moments.

Our mission is to support vulnerable members of our community through two simple but meaningful programs.

🎒 First Night Bags for Youth Entering Foster Care

When a child enters foster care, their world can change in an instant. They may leave familiar surroundings with few personal belongings, facing uncertainty and fear. Our First Night Bags provide essential items, comfort items, and small reminders that someone cares. A backpack, a plush toy, a blanket, and basic hygiene supplies may seem simple, but they can help a young person feel a little more comfortable during an overwhelming transition.

💛 Comfort Bags for Unsheltered Adults

For adults experiencing homelessness, everyday necessities can be difficult to access. Our Comfort Bags provide practical essentials such as hygiene products, blankets, snacks, and reusable water bottles. These supplies offer a helping hand while reminding each recipient that they are valued members of our community.

Your Gift Makes a Difference

This fall, we're asking our community to come together and help us continue providing these essential items to people who need them most.

Every donation, regardless of size, helps Morningstar Community Collective purchase supplies, prepare bags, and reach more individuals in need.

$10 can help purchase basic necessities.
$25 can help provide supplies for a comfort or first-night bag.
$50 can help us prepare multiple bags, depending on the items needed.
$100 or more can help expand our reach and prepare additional bags for distribution.

These are suggested giving levels; actual costs and the number of bags funded will depend on supply prices and individual needs.

You don't have to change the whole world to make a difference in someone's life. Sometimes, making a difference starts with a backpack, a warm blanket, or a few essential items offered with kindness.

Join us in our Fall Giving Campaign. Help us make sure that children entering foster care and adults experiencing homelessness know that they have not been forgotten.

🍁 Give today. Share our campaign. Help us bring comfort, dignity, and hope to our community.

Together, we can make a difference—one bag, one person, and one act of kindness at a time.

With gratitude,
