This May, we’re inviting you to be part of something deeply meaningful—creating a safe, stable home for moms and their children.

Stable Flooring ($20,000)
Like any family home, ours requires regular maintenance and care from the wear and tear of daily life. But now, our charming home built in the early 1900s is in need of critical repairs to remain safe and functional. The floors in the kitchen and laundry room are sagging and require structural support beneath the house along with replacement of the subfloor and flooring.

Secure Parking ($10,000)
Outside, we have an opportunity to care not only for our moms, but also for our neighborhood. By adding a concrete parking pad, we can reduce street congestion and improve overall safety.
More importantly, this will provide our moms with a secure place to come home to at night and help prevent car break-ins which have occurred a couple times over the past year.

Sustained Savings ($20,000)
Unforeseen needs and inevitable repairs not covered by insurance come with an older home and nonprofit work, so we maintain a savings fund. In 2024, significant repairs due to water damage in the home drained that fund and those reserves were depleted. Rebuilding this fund ensures we can respond quickly to future needs without disrupting the stability of the families we serve.
