Let’s start with the obvious. What is Moustaches for Kids? Moustaches for Kids is a community of moustache “growers” who raise money once a year for a local children’s charity.  This year we've partnered with Camp Conrad Chinnock! 

For 30 days, the chapter’s Growers will all work tirelessly to grow and display their beautiful moustaches. They, of course, will be asked, “What’s with the Stache?” That is their opportunity to raise awareness and money for deserving kids.

Your donation will go directly to support Camp Conrad Chinnock who support children with Type 1 diabetes and their families. When kids are told they have this disease, they are given a life changing diagnosis. Their life becomes a full-time balancing act requiring constant attention to avoid life-threatening hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) or the long-term damage done by hyperglycemia (high blood sugar). Blood sugar levels must be monitored either with finger pricks or a continuous glucose monitor. Insulin doses must then be carefully calculated based upon activity and stress levels, food intake, illness, and additional factors. These calculations are rarely perfect resulting in a tremendous emotional and mental burden for both patients and caregivers.
