The Move & Groove is back—and more colorful than ever! 🎉🌈

One of Rutherford’s favorite events, the Move & Groove Fundraiser brings our community together to get active, celebrate the new school year, and raise money for classroom supplies and materials.

The fun starts with a friendly competition to raise funds and build excitement a few weeks ahead of the Move & Groove. Then, on event day, students, staff, and families will hit the upper field for 30 minutes of walking, running, and grooving while parent volunteers shower participants with bursts of color!

The event takes place during the school day and every student will receive an offical 2026 Move & Groove t-shirt to wear and keep. Our goal is to raise $20,000 (about $36 per student) through donations from family, friends, neighbors, and community members. Best of all, every student participates —whether they raise funds or not! 💙💛💚💜

Donations accepted until 11:59 PM on October 9th.
