Help Shape Tomorrow's Legacy

Shared Goals to Strengthen Families and Transform Community.

Founded by formerly enslaved people who understood the power of community, Mount Calvary Baptist Church (MTCBC) has spent generations feeding families, supporting youth, and caring for our neighbors in crisis.

For more than 120 years, we've been a beacon of hope in Rockville’s historic Lincoln Park. As a long-time neighbor in the Lincoln Park community, MTCBC is deeply appreciative of the valuable services your business provides, which continues to be crucial to our operations and mission. Recognizing how the ongoing efforts of our LEON GRANT FAMILY LIFE CENTER (LGFLC) closely align to your commitment to the local community, we are reaching out to our network of trusted business partners, including yours, to request financial help to eliminate debt on the LGFLC and free up resources to expand our programs for families, youth, and community care. As a business that understands the impact of our work firsthand through our existing relationship, we invite you to consider becoming a funding partner. Your support would enable us to expand our initiatives and create even greater positive change in the community we both serve. We believe a partnership with your business would be a powerful testament to our shared values and dedication to local growth and prosperity.

Now, we’re focused on one clear goal:

"Eliminate the remaining debt on our LGFLC so every dollar can go into ministry, outreach, and community care."

When you give, you’re investing in:

Food support and family outreach
Free facility use for Funerals for members and non-members
Health and wellness initiatives for all ages
Upcoming skills training and pathways to employment

Every donation helps to free the LGFLC from debt and goes directly to serving families, educating students, and transforming lives. We would be grateful for the opportunity to discuss how your business can invest in our future and amplify our collective impact in the Lincoln Park community. As you plan your end-of-year donations, we would appreciate your consideration of the LGFLC.
