Mt Carmel Ally is a nonprofit organization leading the restoration and preservation of the historically significant Mount Carmel Cemetery in Memphis, TN.

Partnering with Mt Carmel Ally to sponsor the inaugural/annual golf tournament is a chance to:

Restoration and Preservation of a Historical Black Cemetery

Mission Statement: Mt Carmel Ally is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration and preservation of a historic Black cemetery, creating a community learning space.

Vision: The organization's vision is to create a community learning space where students can explore the cemetery's rich history, learn about archaeological science, and appreciate the artistic elements of the headstones and materials used.

IN THE PAST TWO YEARS, Mt Carmel Ally:

vReceived TN State Historical Marker

vLed 3 successful Community Cleanups with support of sponsors

vHeld 2025 Martin Luther King Day Community event focused on what MT Carmel’s history means to Memphis.

vEstablished/gained local support from many organizations to include Memphis City Beautiful, Memphis Park Services, etc, as well as national support with the National trust for Historic Preservation and the Black Cemetery Network.
