Nash Mahupete's Story

"I am a Zimbabwe native and former nursing student who now leads one of the nation's leading rehabilitation centers. I climb because I know what hope can do for people in crisis."

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Tinashe “Nash” Mahupete came to the United States as an international student in 2000. While pursuing his degree, he began his career at QLI as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Over more than 26 years, Nash served in leadership roles across the organization before being named President and CEO. Today he leads QLI, a nationally recognized provider of brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. Beyond QLI, Nash serves as Board President of Abide and is engaged in civic and nonprofit leadership across Nebraska. He and his wife share two children, Dominic and Jada.
