Thank you for being a part of the Mushroom Weekend at the Yew Mountain Center (YMC) in Hillsboro, WV.

Parking

The main parking area for the event will be in the field in front of the lodge. There will be a sign directing you to YMC's secondary entrance to the parking field. Once you park, please walk up the hill to the lodge, follow the signs for registration, where you will be greeted by staff and checked in for the weekend.

If you are staying with us, we'll be happy to show you the way to your mountain retreat.

Accessible parking for people with mobility challenges or drop-off is available closer to the lodge. Take the main YMC entrance for this option.

Arrival and Check-in

Registration and sign-in will be from 5:00 - 6:00 PM.

Our first session will begin at 6:00 PM.

Followed by dinner at 7:30.

A REQUIRED waiver will be emailed to participants after registration.

Food and Beverages

Snacks, teas, and drinks will be provided throughout the weekend.

The fee includes Sunday dinner; Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner; Sunday light breakfast.

We have accommodated dietary restrictions that were communicated to us in advance.

Lodging/Camping/Bunkhouse

Please ask us about camping with us for the weekend! We have plenty of sites.

There is also a bunkhouse with 6 beds for a slightly less rustic option than camping. The bunkhouse features a communal sleeping area rather than private bedrooms. Suggested Items to Bring

*Comfortable/layered clothing appropriate for field activities. Long pants are suggested (Ticks!)

*Sturdy running/walking shoes

*Rain gear. Activities will happen rain or shine!

*Water bottle, coffee mug, reusable cup.

*Insect repellent

*Day bag to keep your things in

*Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), if needed.

*Field Notebook and writing utensil

*Cash for shopping. YMC accepts major credit cards for gift shop items, but presenters or other vendors may not. (optional)
