Music at the Marina 2026: A Summer of Sound & Community
Presented by Everett Music Initiative in partnership with the Port of Everett

Everett Music Initiative is setting its sights on the biggest Music at the Marina season yet: expanding the beloved free summer concert series from eight weeks to nine in 2026. To keep the concerts free and accessible, and to support the growing weekly crowds of up to 7,000 attendees — EMI is launching a fundraising campaign inviting supporters, businesses, and music lovers to invest in a bigger, safer summer on the Everett waterfront.

Every summer, thousands gather at the Port of Everett for Music at the Marina — now the largest free summer concert series in Washington State. What began as a small waterfront show has become a destination event where families picnic on the lawn, local artists perform under sunset skies, and the community comes together through music. With that growth comes the increased need for safety, infrastructure, and production improvements.

As attendance has risen, so has the need to expand the operations that keep the series safe, enjoyable, and sustainable. Donations will help EMI invest in:

Free Access for All – ensuring cost never stands between anyone and great music
Upgraded Security & Safety Enhancements – improved walkways, ADA pathways, crowd flow, barriers, and security staffing
Top-Tier Production – enhanced sound, staging, artist hospitality, and technical capacity
Sustainable Operations – power, waste management, and vendor accommodations that support long-term growth

As EMI Founder Ryan Crowther says:

Our 2026 Goal: $30,000 by January 1
