The mental health crisis is rising every day + affecting our youth more & more.

That’s why we are investing in the Inca Club Youth Athletics Program.

For nearly 10 years, this incredible program has provided indigenous youth with support, self-esteem, community, and love. Creating a safe place for kids to come together, provide hope & fulfill dreams.

And most importantly, it keeps kids off the streets & helps them say no to bad decisions.

This Inca Club Futbol (soccer), serves hundreds of children ages 4-18 years old and has been a staple in the High Andes Mountains native villages. Every year the club has over 150 kids training every day + doing tournaments regularly.

Unfortunately, the life-changing athletic organization suddenly lost all funding, so they asked to team up with our Tribe to continue this extraordinary mission for indigenous kids in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Peru.

We (The Cultural Community) have been funding the Inca Club since March 2021 because we couldn’t let this fall apart!

The Inca Club is the only organization offering free sports for the rural native communities near Pisac, Taray, and Coya. This really is impacting thousands of lives & you can't even imagine the happiness + community it brings among these children who don't get any other opportunities to play competitive team sports because it isn't offered in schools or anywhere close enough to travel.

Our parents believe that sports benefit their child’s mental health & they are right!

Participating in sports is associated with:

• Lower rates of anxiety & depression • Lower amounts of stress • Higher self-esteem and confidence • Reduced risk of suicide • Less substance abuse & fewer risky behaviors • Increased cognitive performance • Increased creativity • Greater enjoyment of all forms of physical activity • Improved psychological & emotional well-being for individuals with disabilities • Increased life satisfaction

Parents also believe that sports will benefit their children academically + improve their future careers. They claim that sports helped their child learn about discipline and dedication, as well as how to get along with others. Research supports these beliefs.

Most families cannot afford this program.

Parents were expected to cover membership fees when the Inca Club lost funding. They were left with the heartbreaking decision to keep their child in the program or cover necessary expenses for their family.

Canceling a child’s membership to play for financial reasons would devastate both parents and children! Imagine having to choose to pull your child out of a loved program because of funding. It's not fair that they need to make that choice.
