The registration date to guarantee a tee shirt for the event has passed. Due to supply issues, no shirts will be available for purchase, we appreciate your understanding.

Why Walk?

The Byam School Association (BSA) has sponsored the walk-a-thon for the past 9 years. It is our school's primary fundraiser with all profits going back to our students.

Funds raised at this event sustain many ongoing programs that the school district does not fund. Below is a list of programs that our school receives from the BSA:

The walk-a-thon represents all that is great about the Byam School. By joining the walk-a-thon event, our students exemplify the tenants of PRIDE. On this day every member of the Byam community can come together to help our students meet their goals, get outside to exercise, to socialize and have FUN!

First time attending?
If you have not attended in past years, please know that the walk-a-thon is a very relaxed event. You can stop by anytime between 11a.m. and 3 p.m. There will be music, food for purchase, a photo booth, face painting, etc. It is very typical for families to stop by before or after scheduled actives and grab a bite to eat and socialize with friends while their children walk "Louie's Loop". around the school Grounds.
