Help Nana Baby Children's Home expand its services

Nana Baby Children’s Home sees firsthand the need for a teen home in our community. Since the closing of Seaview, more teens has been placed at NBH. Our plan is to purchase a larger home for the current Nana Baby Home to allow children to have more space to live, play and grow. Then we will implement “Teen Haven”, a 6-capacity teen group home with a focus on supporting teens who will age out of care, at the existing, and newly remolded Nana Baby House. Expanding our services, will allow us to care for 6 additional children taking us from a max of 12 to a max of 18 children at a time.

Our mission is to offer a secure, nurturing, and supportive environment for teenagers in crisis, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being while facilitating access to essential services and long-term solutions.

Why We Need Your Support:

Nana Baby Home is only licensed for ages 0-12
Housing teenagers in the same room as children is inappropriate
A small-scale teen home allows for residents to have increased supervision, more 1-on-1 support, and allows the home to operate less like an institution (which tend to have poor outcomes) and more like a home.
