Starting Over Should Not Mean Starting Empty

Picture walking into your first apartment. Four bare walls. No couch, no bed, nothing that says you live here.

That's where many young adults land when they transition from the foster care and juvenile justice systems. They have a key, but they don't have a home. Too many have spent years being told who they are. They don't lack potential. They lack support, safety, and the chance to define themselves beyond what they've been through.

Narrative empowers youth transitioning from the system to reclaim their stories through the transformative power of art and design. We believe every young person deserves to feel at home in their own story.

Designing Dignity: Designing Dignity helps youth transitioning from the system turn four bare walls into a home that reflects who they are and makes room for healing, stability, and belonging. Not just furnished, but foundational. Not just decorated, but designed with intention, dignity, and care.

Art Mentorship: pairs youth with professional artists. Using the healing power of art, young people reclaim their story, build confidence, and create meaningful work that reflects who they are and who they're becoming.

With your support, we can give every young person the belief, tools, and safe space they need to move from character to author.

Reclaiming stories. Restoring voices. Reimagining futures.
