BOOP! It’s Our 104th Birthday 🎉🐾
Help Us Raise $20,000 during National BOOP Your Pet Day Weekend – July 24 - July 26

July 26 is a day we look forward to every year at the APA Adoption Center—because it’s our birthday and National BOOP Your Pet Day! This year, we’re turning 104 and celebrating all weekend long with the thing we love most: helping pets find loving homes.

To honor 104 years of compassionate care, second chances, and tail wags, we’re setting a goal to raise $20,000 over our birthday weekend—and thanks to our friends at Tito's Handmade Vodka, the first $5,000 in donations will be matched, doubling your impact!

Your gift is a birthday present for the pets in our care—providing lifesaving medical treatment, nourishing meals, cozy beds, and the enrichment that helps them feel safe and loved while they wait to be discovered by a family of their own. Every donation brings us one step closer to making their biggest wish come true. Thank you for being part of this special day and giving shelter pets the gift of a brighter tomorrow.

Here are just a few of the ways we’ll be celebrating our 104th birthday all weekend long:

July 24–26, all adoption fees will be sponsored by our friends at ARCO in celebration of their Founders’ Day—helping even more pets find the loving homes they deserve. Whether you’re ready to adopt or just want to make a difference, this is a perfect time to get involved.

Stop by the APA on Sunday, July 26, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM to decorate a special treat for a shelter pet, courtesy of our friends at Treats Unleashed. It's a fun way to celebrate our birthday while making the day a little sweeter for the pets in our care.

Later that day, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, enjoy a celebratory signature drink from Tito's Handmade Vodka, meet some incredible pets, and help us celebrate 104 years of second chances. Can't join us in person? You can still BOOP with love from afar by making an online gift right here.

July 24–26, get 20% off APA Merchandise in-person and online. Shop shirts, stickers, hats, and more! 100% of proceeds support our shelter. Use code "BOOP20 to claim your discount. *Exclusions may apply

Thank you for helping us turn 104 in the best way possible—by giving the pets in our care the chance to start their next chapter. 💕
