Signing up for a waitlist ticket does not confirm your attendance. The week of the event, waitlisted participants will be reached out to on a first-come, first-served basis as spots become available. Unless you receive a personal email from the IATC confirming your attendance, you remain on the waitlist.

Join Mary Nakasone of the Washington Native Plant Society and Joel Gartengberg, trail runner and IATC board member, for a relaxed 4-mile hike through Cougar Mountain, featuring about 800 feet of elevation gain. We'll take our time on the trail, making plenty of stops to observe and talk about the local plant life and spot birds—so it's perfect for curious hikers and nature enthusiasts alike. Expect forested paths, seasonal changes, and plenty of opportunities to learn about native flora and fauna in a beautiful Pacific Northwest setting. If you have binoculars, be sure to bring them. All experience levels welcome!

NOTE: Registered participants are required to print and fill out a WNPS waiver to attend. The group will meet in the parking lot of Sky Country Trailhead.
